Merry Christmas!

I hope everyone had a joyful day on the 25th! I sure did! We started early (6am) by driving to ring Zach and Stacey's door bell to make sure they were up and would made it to Middle Gate. Well, you could say we were might surprised when we found a note that said this taped to the door:

"See you at Middle Gate Shiesters!
Love Zach, Stac, Si
P.S. Revanna look both ways
before you cross the street"

The turds! We had a bit of early morning cursing and laughing. By the time we made it to the house everyone was awake and we got started. Each person opened their stocking one at a time. It is such a delicious feeling going so slowly and seeing each family members delight! The floor was littered in wrapping paper and by the end, almost 2 hours later.
Then my Mama and Zach cooked a delicious breakfast, I packed up, showered, and started cooking!
We had a North meets South meal.

Pickerel Cakes
Moose Stew
Bison Short ribs
Swiss Chard and Sweet Potato Gratin
Garlic Butter Roasted Mushrooms
Spinach, Walnut, and Dried Peach Salad
Homemade Sourdough bread (courtesy of Zach and Nate)

It was so fun to do and the table looked awesome!
These three lovely ladies did the dinner dishes (thank you!!):

Like usual the boys were occupied with poker for most of the evening!
Merry Christmas!
