Special Guest

I got some great feedback from the last post on fitted sheet folding (who knew!?!?) and I was intrigued by a comment from my Auntie Sandra about her sock folding technique. I sent her an email asking if she wouldn't mind getting my Uncle Gerry to film her demonstrating it. And to my great delight she said yes!!
My Auntie Sandra lives in the same town as my Grandparents and I always pop in when I'm up visiting. She is quite crafty and makes beautiful handmade cards, as well as being a great gardener and the mother of one of my favorite people on the planet. Yup, she's pretty great!

 After I saw the video the first time I assessed my sock drawer...slightly embarrassing but here it is!

It didn't take long to look like this...

I have come to a few conclusions after this exercise...

• I have alarmingly few pairs of socks
• of these socks, 3 pairs are strictly seasonal (halloween/easter/christmas)
• a tidy sock drawer makes me smile
• and I am SO thankful to have found a kindred spirit in my Auntie Sandra, someone to share these techniques with when others may be shaking their heads!
