Today's happy thing came in the form of a chocolate cake. I was inspired by purple and white pansies I saw at the store, andk new they were destined to become a simple, but beautiful garnish for a cake. So I made a cake.
I frosted it on the porch, during a thunder storm. While wearing a far too short sweater.
It felt like I was at the cabin, in the most perfect way.
That's what brought me joy today!
