Chickies and Prairie Points

While we wait for a few more bug questions (I'm lookin' at YOU!), I thought I'd share my latest quilting project. I think this one is one of my most favorite, and yes I say that about almost every project!

 This baby quilt will be sent to Germany and I like to think its a reflection of the prairies, what with the chickies and prairie points (those are the little triangles).

Baby quilts are possibly one of most fun things to quilt. Not just because of the quilt fabric and how quickly they quilt up, but because of how special baby quilts are. I still have mine from my Nana, it had kittens and balls of yarn on it. Who knows who this new babe will grow up to be, but they will know that someone loves them on the prairies.
